Cooperation across research projects with overlapping priorities is essential to ensuring the visibility, accessibility and longevity of their respective results. FORSAID has therefore prioritised synergistic partnerships with relevant initiatives whose efforts to innovate pest control practices complement its own.
On this page, you can find a list of the projects that are actively collaborating with us on the future of plant health in Europe.
FORSAID, STELLA and Cerberus all originated from the same Horizon Europe call for research projects - "Digital technologies supporting plant health early detection, territory surveillance and phytosanitary measures". The core objective of the call - supporting the transition to fair, healthy and resilient agriculture and forestry, notably the target to reduce the overall use and risk of chemical pesticides by 50%. An innovative outlook on early pest detection and monitoring is singled out as a method with substantial potential to deliver a roadmap to this aim. It is a perspective with key significance to the implementation of all three projects and will thus serve as a basis for their long-term partnership.
FORSAID is committed to the establishment of a broader network of stakeholders involved in pest detection and plant health on European soil.
