Cooperation across research projects with overlapping priorities is essential to ensuring the visibility, accessibility and longevity of their respective results. FORSAID has therefore prioritised synergistic partnerships with relevant initiatives whose efforts to innovate pest control practices complement its own.

Sister projects

FORSAID, CERBERUS and STELLA all originated from the same Horizon Europe topic call for research projects - "Digital technologies supporting plant health early detection, territory surveillance and phytosanitary measures". Its core objective - supporting the transition to fair, healthy and resilient agriculture and forestry, notably the EU target to reduce the overall use and risk of chemical pesticides by 50%. An innovative outlook on early pest detection and monitoring is singled out as a method with substantial potential to deliver a roadmap to this objective. It is a perspective with key significance to the implementation of all three projects and is thus serving as a basis for a long-term partnership.
